Situation
A game studio was shipping to Apple and Google for the first time. The permission prompts and the store declarations described different reasons for camera, storage, and tracking access.
What was done
- Wrote one purpose sentence per permission and used it in both the binary prompts and the store forms.
- Removed declarations for permissions the build did not request.
- Submitted both stores with the same purpose map attached to the review notes.
Outcome
Both stores approved the first submission.
