Situation
A new personal Google Play account could not move from closed testing to production. The console asked for opted-in testers, but the evidence on file did not show 12 testers held for 14 consecutive days.
What was done
- Mapped the Play Console closed-test track against the 12×14 production-access questions.
- Rebuilt the tester evidence pack: opt-in dates, consecutive-day coverage, and the feedback notes the form asks for.
- Submitted the production-access application only after the 14-day window was actually complete.
Outcome
The app went live 16 days after the evidence pack was rebuilt. Closed testing was the blocker, not the store listing copy.
