DPLA §3.2(f) is an account-trust clause (interfere vs dishonest) — not one bad update: old rejection stacks, lookalike metadata, or review-switch can trigger bot-style membership terminate + frozen payouts months later; tenure does not immunize; and letters saying “3.2(f)” almost always mean the Program License Agreement, not Guidelines §3.2 business-model rows.

Apple's Developer Program License Agreement §3.2(f) (also PDF EN) bars two shapes of conduct: interfering with Apple Software/Services or App Store intent, and dishonest business practices around your apps. That is a membership / account clause — not a single-build reject under App Review Guidelines §3.2 Other Business Model Issues.

This Insights leaf is the account-trust add-on to the live 5.6 / 2.1 account-risk thread. Soft-link that leaf; its binary-scan and limited-history recording checklists stay on that page.

Two buckets under §3.2(f)

InterfereFraudulent reviews; name substantially similar to create confusion; squatting names to block legitimate useNo fake / paid / reciprocal reviews; no lookalike or squat titles
DishonestBait-and-switch pricing; consumer misrepresentation; deceptive / unfair practicesHonest paywall / price; Review binary = shipped binary; no misleading metadata

Hygiene G checklist (pre-submit)

  • ☐ No fake / paid / reciprocal review schemes
  • ☐ No name squatting / lookalike titles that create consumer confusion
  • ☐ No review-switch — what Review sees is what users get
  • ☐ Paywall / price honesty (no bait-and-switch)
  • ☐ Rejection history clean — fix root cause; don’t title-tweak to burn queue
  • ☐ Accounts fully separate — no associated / shared device / payment / binary farms; never open a second Team to evade
  • ☐ Don’t stack fraud flags with sibling 5.6 / 2.1 gaps — soft-link 5.6 binary + 2.1 limited-history Insights only (no reprint)

Recovery fork (pending ≠ terminated)

If the seat is still pending (reject / remove / investigation): use App Store Connect Reply first, then the App Review Board if needed — clause-by-clause, honest evidence; an appeal is not a status ping. If membership is already terminated: use DSA / reinstate redress plus a written improvement plan (membership termination · termination support). That path is membership redress, not an ordinary Guideline appeal, and not a second Developer account opened to evade. Soft-link the associated-account ban leaf for association hygiene. P2B stats are public context only, never a promise: developer.apple.com/support/p2b.

What this leaf is not

  • Not a reprint of the 5.6 binary-scan checklist or the 2.1 limited-history recording checklist (soft-link only).
  • Not Guidelines §3.2 business-model rows. A letter that says “3.2(f)” is the Program License Agreement.
  • Not a 4.3(a) substantive-diff leaf, not a 2.5.19 bait-switch recovery leaf, and not Play closed-testing.
  • Not legal advice, and not a reinstate-rate promise.
